Sipho Pityana

Sipho Mila Pityana is the founder and currently holds multiple positions.
He is the Chairman of Izingwe Capital (Pty) Ltd., which he founded in 2004.
He is also currently the Chairman of the University of Cape Town, Co-Chairman-Africa Regional Stewardship Board at Forum Mondial de L'Economie, Executive Chairman of Izingwe Holdings (Pty) Ltd., Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Redefine Properties Ltd., and a Director at Business Leadership South Africa.
In his former positions, Dr. Pityana served as the Non-Executive Chairman of AngloGold Ashanti (Pty) Ltd., Chairman of Onelogix Group Ltd., Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of Aberdare Cables (Pty) Ltd., and Director of Spescom Ltd. (South Africa).
He was also a Director at Absa Group Ltd., Nedcor Investment Bank Holdings Ltd., African Oxygen (Pty) Ltd., Bytes Technology Group Ltd., Nedbank Ltd., Scaw Metals Group Pty Ltd., ABSA Bank Ltd., Scaw South Africa Pty Ltd., Munich Reinsurance Company of Africa Ltd., Afrox Ltd., and President of Business Unity South Africa.
