Mr. Robert Mair has eleven years experience in private equity, corporate and consumer banking and business management.
Following eight years of founding and operating a multitude of ventures, primarily in the IT sector, Mr. Robert Mair successfully exited via MBO and entered the banking sector in agribusiness, SME and consumer lending.
With a background in business startups, operations and debt/equity funding, Mr. Robert Mair has brought to Pioneer skill's in financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and an understanding of the obstacles and challenges facing startup and early stage businesses.
As Investment Manager at Pioneer, Mr. Robert Mair concentrates on fund and investee compliancing, third party negotiations, and post investment management; this includes working with the investee company's regarding strategic direction and implementation, operational processes and controls, and financial resourcing.
Mr. Robert Mair has studied information technology, marketing, investment, corporate governance, merchandising, value chain management, taxation, finance, and corporation law.
He holds an MBA and a Masters of Accounting, and is a registered member of CPA Australia.s
