The Vancouver National Historic Reserve Trust, doing business as The Historic Trust, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, educating about, and celebrating the community’s history to inspire civic pride and economic vitality. Established in 1998, the organization manages and preserves historic properties including Providence Academy, Officers Row at Vancouver Barracks, the General O.O. Howard House, and West Vancouver Barracks. The non-profit company is based in Vancouver, WA. Providence Academy serves as a commercial and event venue and houses a small business incubator program supporting entrepreneurs with grant-assisted leases and mentorship.
