Dr. Priscilla Chan, MD, is a Co-Founder & Co-Chief Executive Officer at Chan Zuckerberg Initiative LLC and a Chairman at Gradient Learning.
She leads efforts to advance biomedical research and technology to help scientists cure, prevent, or manage all disease by the end of this century.
Her leadership at the firm has focused on harnessing AI, building cutting-edge research tools, and funding innovative science to unlock new insights into human biology.
Dr. Chan was previously employed as a Founder by Zuckerberg Education Management LLC and a Co-Founder by Startup:Education.
She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Harvard University and her doctor of medicine from the University of California, San Francisco, where she also completed her pediatrics residency.
