Mr. Poul-Erik Olsen, CFA MBA, is a Northwest Divisional Managing Director & Senior Portfolio Manager at RBC Rochdale LLC.
He joined the firm in 2003.
At the firm, he works closely with each client’s advisor to develop a customized portfolio based on the client’s investment objective, time horizon, income needs, and tolerance for market volatility.
He is responsible for the investment strategy implementation and monitoring of private client portfolios, as well as direct relationship management.
Mr. Olsen has over 25 years of experience in international finance and client management, including 18 years with public and private U.S.
equity investments in the brokerage and investment banking industry.
He was responsible for account management of the largest pension and mutual funds in Scandinavia and the Benelux region while at both Bank of America Securities and Robertson, Stephens & Co. He began his career in his native Denmark, where he worked as a lending officer for Spar Nord Bank.
He earned his BS in Economics from the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark and his MBA in Finance from the University of California at Berkeley, where he specialized in finance and international business.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
He also holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation.
