Larry N.
Cook is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of University Health Care, Inc. He has been an Executive Vice President of Health Affairs at the University of Louisville (UofL) since April, 2005.
Dr. Cook is a Member of the University Medical Center, Inc., the Association of Academic Health Centers, the Jefferson County Medical Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the Kentucky Pediatric Society, the Kentucky Medical Association, and the American Pediatric Society.
He was appointed as Chairman of the Pediatrics Department and Chief of Staff for the Kosair Children's Hospital Foundation in 1994.
Previously, he was President and Chairman of the School of Medicines Practice Plan Board and the Medical School Practice Association.
Dr. Cook received a BS degree and an MD from the University of Louisville.
