Ms. Karen A. Sesin is a Portfolio Manager of US Growth Equities at AllianceBernstein LP.
She is also a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for the US Large Cap Growth portfolios.
Before rejoining the US Growth Equities team in October 2016, she spent 11 years as a senior portfolio manager on the Blend Equities team, and was head of Blend Equities from 2014 to 2016.
Previously she was a portfolio manager on the US Large Cap Growth team from 1999 to 2005, and also worked with the Select US Equity team.
She has over 31 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sesin served from 1992 to 1999 as Chief Investment officer for Waycrosse, a private investment company affiliated with Cargill.
Earlier in her career, she worked for The Pillsbury Company as an investment manager, with responsibility for pension and savings plan assets, and The Northern Trust Company.
She holds a BS in business administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
