Karen Kassouf

Ms. Karen Kassouf is Founder & Managing Member at Cedar Ventures LLC, a Member at Atlanta Venture Forum, and a Member at National Venture Capital Association.
Prior to founding Cedar Ventures LLC, Ms. Kassouf has initiated and ran Cedar Equities, the venture capital subsidiary of Western Indemnity Insurance Company, an insurance entity in Texas.
She formed ZCedar Ventures in 2000.
From 1991 to 199, Ms. Kassouf was Vice President of Business Development for Healthcare Insurance Services.
She also initiated Southwest for Chemical Banking Corporation, now Banc One and JP Morgan Chase.
Prior to joining Chemical Banking Corporation and Texas Commerce Bank, she served as a securities lawyer for Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander & Ferdon in New York City.
Ms. Kassouf is a founding advisory board member for the Women Business Leaders, the US Healthcare Industry Foundation, Director of the ATFL in Washington DC and a prior board member of the Southern Federation Foundation.
Ms. Kassouf received her BA from Bucknell University, cum laude, and her JD from Villanova Law School where she was the Associate Editor for the Law Review.
Ms. Kassouf is a member of the New York and Texas Bar Associations, Atlanta Venture Forum and the National Venture Capital Association.
