James Hall

James Willis Hall is currently the President & Chief Executive Officer of James Hall Advisors, Inc., a Member of the University of Western Ontario, and a Trustee of Omers Trust.
He has formerly held positions such as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Journal Register Co., Inc., Chairman of International Datacasting Corp., and Independent Director of Indigo Books & Music, Inc. He has also served as a Director of Global Credit Pref Corp., Adventus Intellectual Property, Inc., and Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. Additionally, he was an Independent Director of IMV, Inc. from 2010 to 2021, and a Trustee of General Donlee Income Fund and TerraVest Income Fund.
He was the Chief Investment Officer & Senior Vice President of Working Ventures Canadian from 1990 to 2002, and Senior Vice President-Investments of GrowthWorks Capital Ltd. in 2003-2004.
He also held the position of Vice President at Callidus Capital Corp.
Mr. Hall received his undergraduate degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
