Fuad El Hibri

Fuad El Hibri is the founder of Emergent BioSolutions, Inc., which was founded in 1998.
He served as the Executive Chairman from 2012 to 2022.
Mr. El Hibri is currently the Chairman & Treasurer of the El-Hibri Charitable Foundation.
He is also the Chairman of East West Resources Corp., a position he has held since 2004.
Additionally, Mr. El Hibri is a Director of the International Biomedical Research Alliance and a Trustee of The National Health Museum.
In his former positions, he was the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Emergent BioDefense Operations Lansing, Inc. from 1998 to 2004.
He also served as the Chairman of Aptevo Therapeutics, Inc. from 2016 to 2022 and as a Director of the Chamber of Commerce of The United States of America from 2011 to 2017.
Mr. El Hibri was a Trustee of American University from 2004 to 2010 and the President of Digicel El Salvador Ltd from 2000 to 2006.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and his graduate studies at Yale University.
