Turner Investment Partners (TIP) provides investment management and distribution services. TIP invests in growth and value stocks of all market-caps and in bonds of various maturity averages. They employ a three-step investment process begins with a proprietary model that uses over 70 factors to screen securities. An analysis that is updated monthly determines which factors can predict strong earnings and growth in each sector. TIP then performs thorough fundamental analysis on potential companies. TIP track a company's money flow and strength relative to its peers and its overall sector. When the fundamentals are strong, the firm uses technical analysis to identify the best time to buy a security. For those products closely tied to a specific benchmark, Turner maintains sector weightings totally in line with the benchmark. A security may be sold if: (1) earnings are lower than expected (2) fundamentals deteriorate and/or (3) if better investment opportunities are identified.
