Dennis B. Tracey

Prior to joining Soverign Bank February 2010, Mr. Tracey was Managing Director at Emigrant Bank from March 2007 September 2008.
Where he is responsible for business development, underwriting, closing and managing bridge, construction, conversion and term loans for bank portfolio.
Mr. Tracey previously worked at Hypo Real Estate Capital Corp, as Director from 1997 to March 2007, where he is responsible for loan structuring, negotiating, underwriting, closing, asset managment, and management of transaction management team, for variety of commercial real estate loan transactions, including pre-development, construction, conversion, acquisition, and term loans.
All portfolio loans, variety of property types, national in scope, including direct and syndicated credits, floating and fixed rates, and senior and mezzanine structures.
Prior to Hypo Real Estate, Mr. Tracey was Director at Aetna Life & Casualty from 1985 to 1996, where he is responsible for managing a $1.2 billion mortgage portfolio with a focus on minimizing porfolio risk pressuring borrowers to repay by maturity, maximizing returns if extensions were absolutely necessary, and minimizing workouts for last five years & for first five years he is responsible for developing and managing a $1.9 billion national construction loan program in support of Aetna permanent loan and equity investment objectives.
Prior to that he worked at The First National Bank of Chicago as Vice President from 1978 to 1985.
Mr. Tracey completed BSBA in Marketing & Finance from Lerner College of Business and Economics, University of Delaware & MBA from Terry College of Business, University of Georgia.
