David Stack

As a financial executive with over 25 years of experience in his field, David Stack serves as the chief financial officer of The RepTrak company, a private equity backed company.
Prior to joining The RepTrak company, David Stack was CFO of HubSpot where he was responsible for directing and developing all financial activities that transformed a $1M Revenue run rate venture capital backed startup to a $100M Revenue run rate corporation.
Before joining Hubspot, Stack was the vice president of finance at a computer data storage company called EMC Corporation.
As an executive team member of EMC, Stack’s primary responsibilities centered on controlling the financial and information system activities in the EMC security division.
This particular business unit of the company accounted for $500M in revenue.
Before joining EMC, Stack was the VP of RSA Security where he also held other financial executive positions.
David was the finance lead for RSA Security during the sale of the company to EMC for $2.3 billion in 2006.
Thanks to Stack’s 25 years of experience in accounting and finance, he has overseen a variety of departmental activities and projects that include long and short-term financial planning, general accounting, investor relations, revenue recognition, accounting policy creation and procurement.
After joining the inbound marketing and sales software company Hubspot in 2008, Stack’s gained additional insight in scaling profitable companies that look to make a move for a possible IPO.
