David B. Hughes

Prior to joining Invesco in 2001, Mr. Hughes was with Chancellor Capital Management, a predecessor firm of Invesco, in 1995 to launch its global fixed income, global credit products division.
He led the Global Fixed Income team in North America until October 1998 when he relocated to Invesco's London office to launch and head Invesco's European high yield corporate bond effort.
While in London, Mr. Hughes launched Invesco's first ever dedicated European High Yield Corporate Bond Fund, its largest fixed interest investment trust and the first fixed interest investment trust whose equity is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
He also won mandates to manage continental European private label and offshore retail funds and was assigned various institutional mandates to manage European high yield corporate bonds.
The team that Mr. Hughes headed managed in excess of $650 million dedicated European high yield assets.
Mr. Hughes began his career in 1991 within the foreign currency product group at Bankers Trust's Global Investment Management division.
He later joined the firm's global fixed income specializing in European fixed income, global credit and foreign exchange investments.
In 1994, Mr. Hughes joined Fiduciary Trust concentrating on global fixed income and global credit investments.
Mr. Hughes earned his M.B.A. in 2004 upon completing New York University's Executive M.B.A. Program.
He also received a B.B.A. in Policy & Management Studies and with Honors in Economics from Dickinson College in 1991 with a concentration in International Studies.
