Chris Mier

Mr. Christopher J.
Mier was previously employed as a Managing Director by Loop Capital Markets LLC, a Principal by Comerica Bank (Dallas, Texas), a Portfolio Manager by Massachusetts Financial Services Co., and a Portfolio Manager by Zurich Scudder Investments, Inc. Prior to joining Loop Capital, He was an institutional Portfolio Manager in the Municipal Bond Department at MFS Investment Management, where he was also on the Duration Committee.
In addition, he has served as a Portfolio Manager of numerous municipal funds at Scudder Kemper Investments, prior to which he held several posts at Comerica Bank in Detroit, including credit analyst, portfolio manager and trader in the Funds Management Department.
Mr. Mier holds a Masters of Management in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
He also holds Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
