Bill Cameron

Mr. William M.
Cameron is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at American Fidelity Assurance Co., at American Fidelity Corp.
and at American Fidelity Assurance Co. He is on the Board of Directors at 26 Brix LLC, Advanced Academics, Inc., America's Health Insurance Plans, Inc. and Education World LLC.
He has served as an officer of American Fidelity companies since 1986.
Additionally, he is a partial owner and serves on the board for the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder.
He is the lead owner and chairman of the new WNBA franchise, Dallas Wings.
He is active in a number of industry and civic organizations.
He also serves as Chairman of the Amazon Conservation Team, headquartered in Arlington, VA. He is a member of the Brookings Council and the Center for Strategic and International Studies Advisory Council for Global Strategy Institute.
In Oklahoma, he serves on the boards for the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, State Fair of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.
Mr. Cameron is a past regional chairman and international board member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
He is a former director with the American Council of Life Insurers.
He graduated in 1982 from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, and from Casady School in 1978.
