Ms. Saemundsson previously held senior executive positions with Capitol Investment Corp., a public investment firm where she was instrumental in deploying $13 billion of capital and completed four IPOs.
She served as a consultant to Lindblad Expeditions following Capitol’s investment, supporting the company’s M&A, financial planning and analysis, corporate development, capital raising and investor relations activities.
Prior to Capitol, she was a Vice President with Quadrangle Group LLC, a private equity firm focused on the media and telecommunications sectors.
Prior to joining Quadrangle, she held the role of Vice President in Citigroup’s investment banking division in New York and earlier was an Analyst with British Sky Broadcasting in London.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management where she was a Silver Scholar.
She is a CFA charterholder.
