Fitzpatrick is a Founder at Headlands Technologies LLC.
Prior to co-founding Headlands Technologies in July 2009, Mr. Fitzpatrick was COO of Citadel Execution Services, an affiliate of Citadel Investment Group, LLC in Chicago.
He was responsible for the design, launch and ongoing operations of Citadel's equities market making and options routing businesses.
These businesses executed more than 30% of US retail equity trades and more than 40% of US retail option trades.
Prior to joining Citadel, he worked for Knight Capital Group in a variety of positions, including responsibility for OTC and Listed Equity Trading operations.
He served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Edge ECN and on the CBOE Equity Option Procedures Committee.
He earned a CPA license, and holds a B.S.
in Accounting from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York.
