Jim Harper

Mr. Jim Harper, CPA MBA, is a Principal at Harper Asset Management LLC.
He joined Harper Asset Management in 2008.
He has over 30 years of financial advisory experience in both large and emerging companies as a senior executive, advisor and investor.
He remains a senior advisor to Focus LLC, a middle market investment banking firm, having advised on numerous capital raising and M&A transactions since 2004.
Prior to Focus, Mr. Harper was an investment banker for Westminster securities, completing numerous transactions including a capital raise for I-Trax, Inc, which was later purchased by Walgreens.
He operated JC Harper and Associates where he conducted financial planning services for high net worth families and financial and advisory services for small businesses.
He was also an investor and CFO of a medical software firm prior to its sale to a public entity.
From 1971 until 1996 he served in various financial and senior operating positions with Bellsouth including CFO of several subsidiaries.
Mr. Harper, CPA, has an MBA in Finance from the University of Florida and is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs.
