Ernest Ndukwe

Ernest Chukwuka-Anene Ndukwe is currently the Executive Chairman at MTN Nigeria Communications Plc since 2019.
He is also the Chairman at Openmedia Group since 2010 and the Director at Research ICT Africa since 2012.
Additionally, he holds positions as a Non-Executive Director at SystemSpecs Ltd., a Director at Salt & Einstein MTS Ltd., and the Head-Centre for Infrastructure & Advancement at Lagos Business School.
In his former roles, Dr. Ndukwe served as the Executive Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at The Nigerian Communications Commission from 2000 to 2010.
He was an Independent Non-Executive Director at Access Bank Plc from 2012 to 2020.
Prior to that, he was the Managing Director at General Telecoms from 1989 to 2000.
Dr. Ndukwe obtained his undergraduate degree from Ekiti State University and Obafemi Awolowo University.
He also holds a doctorate degree from the University of Nigeria.
