Simpson is Chief Investment Officer at Sutter Capital Management LLC.
Her daily responsibilities include reviewing all recommendations for acquisitions and dispositions for MPF Advisers, reviewing all investment research performed by various departments within the company, and making recommendations regarding portfolio repositioning.
Prior to joining Sutter Capital Management, Ms. Simpson joined MacKenzie Patterson Fuller, LP in 1990 as an administrative assistant.
In 1992 she was promoted and became the only research analyst until 1994.
In 1996, with an increased research staff, she was promoted to vice president of Research and Trading.
In this position she was responsible for the day to day operations of the department including acquisitions, dispositions, trading, and portfolio management.
Ms. Simpson received both her MBA and Master of Science in Financial Analysis and Investment Management degree from Saint Mary’s College of California.
