Travis Machen

Mr. Travis J.
Machen is a Chief Executive Officer & Group Head of Global Banking & Markets at Scotia Capital (USA), Inc. and a Group Chief Executive Officer at The Bank of Nova Scotia (New York Branch).
In this role, he will build on Scotiabank’s unique North American reach and GBM’s strategic presence in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for the Bank’s global wholesale banking business.
He brings over 25 years of industry expertise across corporate, investment and commercial banking.
He was most recently Managing Director and Head of Banks, Diversified and Financial Infrastructure at Morgan Stanley, and previously, Managing Director and Group Head, Financial Institutions Group, Corporate and Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase where he provided expertise and advisory services to global financial institution clients.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and is a SEP graduate of Stanford Business School.
