Toru Ibayashi

Mr. Toru Ibayashi is a Senior Investment Manager of the Japan Equity Team at Baring Asset Management Japan Ltd. He joined the firm in August 2004 from Nikko Asset Management where he has worked since 1992.
At Nikko he was a member of the investment team managing their “Zipang” flagship mutual fund.
In addition to his experience investing in Japanese equities, he also has considerable experience investing in other Asian equity markets.
Mr. Ibayashi has a BA in Economics from Nihon University, and obtained an MBA from Emory University in the United States.
He holds the CMA qualification.
