Silvio Barzi

Silvio Barzi was the founder of Unicredit Consumer Financing, founded in 2001, where he held the title of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2010.
He was also the founder of UniCredit Family Financing Bank SpA, founded in 2007, where he served as Chairman from 2007 to 2010.
Currently, Mr. Barzi is the Chief Executive Officer at Clarima Banca SpA since 2009.
He is also the Chairman at Mastercard Europe SA since 2001.
In his former positions, Mr. Barzi served as the Non-Executive Chairman at Perago Financial Systems Enablers Pty Ltd. from 2011 to 2012.
He was a Director at Mastercard, Inc. from 2003 to 2006 and an Independent Director from 2008 to 2019.
He also held director positions at Nexi Payments SpA, SiNSYS NV, Mastercard International, Inc., and Quercia Software SpA. Prior to that, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC (Broker) from 1995 to 1998 and a Partner at McKinsey & Co., Inc. in 1995.
He also held positions at UniCredit SpA, Credit Suisse (Italy) SpA, Booz Allen Hamilton International (U.K.) Ltd., and UniCredit Group, where he served as Executive Vice President from 2000 to 2009.
