JPMAMS is an active, research-based manager which utilizes global fundamental research, applying quantitative valuation tools and bottom-up methods to construct portfolios. Investment decisions are based on micro-valuation insights. Their investment decisions are team-based wherein the portfolio manager typically purchases first and second quintile stocks while underweighting third, fourth and fifth quintile stocks. They diversify portfolios across sectors or regions, investing in a variety of asset classes including equities, fixed-income and alternative investments. The firm also specializes in liquidity management, investing in global and Asian money market securities particularly in USD, GBP, EUR, RMB, JPY and SGD.
