Sarah Ospina

Sarah Ospina leads Workday Ventures’ Portfolio Experience team and is a part of the investment team.
She works closely with portfolio companies and Workday business units to provide business and technical expertise that help portfolio companies succeed.
Previously, from 2013 to 2018, Sarah worked in a business development role at Workday, where she helped achieve Workday’s corporate strategy goals and drove strategic alliances with Workday technology.
Prior to joining Workday, Sarah spent over a decade on Wall Street, including seven years as a principal sales trader at Piper Jaffray & Company, where she managed key client relationships and was responsible for introducing investment opportunities.
She also partnered with senior leadership to create and organize Piper Jaffray’s Annual Women’s Symposium, which focused on retention, development, and recruitment of women in client-facing roles at Piper Jaffray.
Sarah earned a bachelor’s in science in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
