Mr. Raman Srivastava, CFA, is a Chief Executive Officer at Insight Investment International Ltd., and Insight Investment Management (Global) Ltd. and a Global Chief Investment Officer & Executive VP at The Canada Life Assurance Co. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Insight in April 2025.
In this role, he leads the Executive Management Committee and is responsible for overseeing the firm's strategic direction and overall operations.
With over 25 years of experience in the investment industry, he brings deep investment expertise and a strong track record of leadership.
Prior to joining Insight, Mr. Srivastava served as Executive Vice-President and Global Chief Investment Officer at Great-West Lifeco.
There, he was a key member of the senior executive team, working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors on a broad range of investment, capital market, and strategic initiatives.
He has held prominent leadership roles across North America, the UK and Europe, including serving as Director and Chair of the Board for several asset management firms, covering both public and private markets.
Earlier in his career, he was Managing Director of Global Fixed Income at Mellon Investments and spent more than a decade at Putnam Investments as a fixed income portfolio manager.
He holds a Master of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Mathematics, Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo.
He is a CFA charterholder.
