D&C is an active, value-oriented and highly focused investor. The firm's business concept consists in developing companies and turning them into successful businesses by acquiring significant portions of their capital and sometimes becoming active members of their management boards. The firm targets small growing companies from Sweden, Asia and Emerging Markets in which to invest with a long-term outlook. They follow a bottom-up process and select investment strategies, sectors and regions on a quarterly basis. D&C conducts in-house macroeconomic and microeconomic fundamental research with a view to analyze and evaluate companies focusing on their asset value, operating value and growth potential. They also use third-party research and make company visits to complement their research process.
