Michael Tennenbaum

Michael Ernest Tennenbaum is the founder of Tennenbaum Capital Partners LLC (founded in 1999) and Tennenbaum Capital Partners (Private Equity) (founded in 1999).
He is currently the Vice Chairman at Party City Corp., Chairman at WinCup, Inc., a Member at Harvard University, a Member-Governors Board at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and a Trustee at Georgia Tech Foundation, Inc. In the past, he served as the Chairman of Pemco Aviation Group, Inc. (1999-2008), Chairman of California High-Speed Rail Authority, Director of Anacomp, Inc. (2003-2009), Director of Kaiser Group Holdings, Inc., Director of Los Angeles World Affairs Council, Director of Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. (1999-2009), Principal at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. He completed his undergraduate degree at Georgia Institute of Technology and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
