Mr. Michael J.
Hegarty is Chief Market Economist at Prescient Investment Managers (Ireland) Ltd. He was previously employed as Senior Market Economist by AIB Investment Managers Ltd. He was appointed to this role in 2008.
Mr. Hegarty joined the AIB Group in 1995, where he worked on the treasury desk based in London.
In late 1995, he transferred from London to Dublin to join the fixed interest desk as a Cash Manager for AIBIM.
In 1998, he was appointed to the bond team responsible for managing Euro and Sterling sovereign bond portfolios, including managing credit and currency exposures for both bond and currency trading funds.
