A strategic thinker, Malanee is passionate about using human centered design techniques to solve complex problems and generate amazing solutions.
Having held roles at several corporate and investment banks including Investec , Nedbank and RMB , Malanee has over 15 years experience in the banking industry.
This has exposed her to various parts of the business, allowing her to build a diverse set of skills.
Her most recent role was in a corporate innovation lab, The FOUNDeRY at RMB, where she led the digital capabilities team.
This is where she was introduced to the Fintech and startup ecosystems, piquing her interest to get more involved in the community.
Her key strengths include corporate innovation, design thinking , strategy formulation and implementation, new business development, understanding/determining commercialization principles, and business re-engineering.
With an entrepreneurial mindset, Malanee has also run a few of her own business ventures.
