John Frank Haasbeek

John Frank Haasbeek has been a Director of Transmeridian Exploration, Inc. since December 2006 and is Chairman of the Audit Committee.
From 1991 to 1997, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of International Transquip Industries, Inc. Previously, Mr. Haasbeek was President and Chief Executive Officer of Hurricane Industries, Chief Financial Officer of Reading & Bates Construction Company, Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Cope Allman International Ltd. and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Nuevo Energy Company until 2004 and Hadson Corporation until 1995.
He began his career as an Auditor with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in Canada and France.
Mr. Haasbeek is a graduate of the University of Manitoba.
