Jiro Ushio

Jiro Ushio is currently the Chairman of the Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography System Development Association, the National Institute for Research Advancement, the Japan Performing Arts Centre Foundation, and the Ushio Foundation.
He is also an Outside Director at Hotel Okura Co., Ltd. Previously, Mr. Ushio held positions as Chairman of KDDI Corp., Ushio, Inc., Nippon Venture Capital Corp., the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, the Japan Productivity Center, and the Nippon Institute for Research Advancement.
He also served as a Director at Japan Post Co., Ltd., President of Japan Junior Chamber, Inc., and as a Member of the Council on Economic & Fiscal Policy.
Mr. Ushio received a graduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1956 and an undergraduate degree from the University of Tokyo in 1953.
