Jackson Garton

Mr. Jackson Garton, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at Makena Capital Management LLC.
He is responsible for portfolio management and manager selection for Makena’s investments in its listed equity asset classes including long-only equity and long/short equity.
He is a member of Makena’s Investment Committee and a member of the Risk Management Committee, responsible for asset allocation risk management for the firm.
He also serves on the Advisory Board of a number of our public equity managers.
Mr. Garton was previously an Associate on the Asset Allocation team at Makena Capital Management following his role as an Analyst supporting the CIO and liquid asset class teams.
Mr. Garton earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds a BS degree in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University.
He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
