Peebles is a Vice President at AllianceBernstein Global High Income Fund, Inc., a Senior Vice President at AllianceBernstein National Municipal Income Fund, Inc., a Chief Investment Officer of Fixed Income at AllianceBernstein LP and a Senior Vice President at Alliance California Municipal Income Fund, Inc. In 1997, he pioneered AB’s highly successful and innovative approach to global multi-sector high-income investing, which is now being adopted by other firms.
Since joining the firm in 1987, he has held several leadership positions, including director of Global Fixed Income (1997–2004), co-head of Fixed Income (2004–2008) and Head of Fixed Income (2008–2016).
He has over 37 years of experience.
Mr. Peebles was previously employed as a Senior Vice President by Alliance New York Municipal Income Fund, Inc., a Senior Vice President by AllianceBernstein Income Fund, Inc., an Executive Vice President by Alliance Capital Management Holding LP, and a Chief Investment Officer & Executive VP by AllianceBernstein Holding LP.
Mr. Peebles holds a BA from Muhlenberg College and an MBA from Rutgers University.
