Christopher J. Howe

Christopher Howe is a founder and managing partner of Indigo Capital, with responsibility for investments in the UK and Nordic region.
Christopher has overall responsibility for the firm’s financial control and human resource functions, as well as for the legal aspects relating to the firm’s fundraising activities.
After graduating as a BSc in 1980 from Loughborough University of Technology, Christopher worked for 4 years at the UK merchant bank Guinness Mahon.
He moved to merchant bank Kleinwort Benson’s UK corporate lending division in 1984 and, five years later, transferred internally to a new team to establish and manage the bank’s first European mezzanine fund.
From 1989 to 1999, Christopher worked in the European mezzanine capital team at Kleinwort Benson.
He left there in 1999 as a director to co-found Indigo Capital with three close colleagues.
