Beng Seng Koh

Beng Seng Koh is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Octagon Advisors Pte Ltd. and Octagon Advisors (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd. and a Member of the China Banking Association, Sun Yat-Sen University, and Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship Council.

He was also the Chairman of Great Eastern General Insurance Ltd. and a Director at GlobalFoundries Singapore Pte Ltd. Additionally, he held positions as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. from 2003 to 2017, United Engineers Ltd. from 2013 to 2017, and Fraser & Neave Ltd. from 2006 to 2013.
He was an Independent Non-Executive Director at BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Ltd. and served as the Lead Independent Non-Executive Director at Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp.
Ltd. from 2019 to 2023.
Mr. Koh also held director positions at Far Eastern Bank Ltd., Japan Wealth Management Securities, Inc., Sing-Han International Financial Services Ltd., and Hon Sui Sen Endowment Clg Ltd. He was the Deputy President at United Overseas Bank Ltd. (Singapore) from 2000 to 2005 and held a role as Deputy MD-Banking & Financial Institution Group at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Mr. Koh obtained an MBA from The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York and an undergraduate degree from Nanyang Technological University.
