Annie Astor-Carbonell

Annie Astor-Carbonell has been Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of First BanCorp since March 1997 and a Director since 1995.
She was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of First BanCorp from 1987 to 1997 and Senior Vice President and Comptroller from 1984 to 1987.
She joined First BanCorp in 1983.
Prior to joining First BanCorp, she was Senior Auditor at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. She was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico Community Foundation from 2003 to 2004.
She was a Director of Puerto Rico Telephone Company from January 1993 to March 1999, serving as Chairperson from 1997 to March 1999.
She was a Member of the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart University of Puerto Rico from 1991 to 1995, serving as Chairperson from 1993 to 1995.
She is a Director of First Federal Finance Corporation, First Leasing and Rental Corporation, FirstBank Insurance Agency, Inc., First Insurance Agency, Inc., FirstMortgage, Inc., First Express, Inc., First Trade, Inc. and FirstBank Overseas Corp7.
She is a Certified Public Accountant.
