Tse Ern Chia

Mr. Tse Ern Chia, CFA, is a Founding Principal, Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager at Tahan Capital Management Pte Ltd. He is on the Board of Directors at Tahan Capital Management Pte Ltd. He is the Portfolio Manager focusing on North Asia, and on convertibles/equity-linked strategies across the region.
He was previously Head of Jabre Capital Singapore and the Portfolio Manager responsible for Asian credit strategy with the flexibility to invest across the capital structure.
Prior to that, Mr. Chia was an Asset Manager at GLG Partners responsible for managing Asian credit and equity portfolios.
He began his financial markets career in 1996 at UBS and later went on to Merrill Lynch with responsibilities for both convertible bond and credit research.
Mr. Chia graduated from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class honors) degree.
