Robert Hester

Robert Hester, Partner and Chief Financial Officer at NovaQuest Capital Management, has over 34 years of experience in finance and over 17 years of experience in the global healthcare industry.
He is a member of the investment committees of the General partner of NovaQuest Pharma Opportunities Fund IV and NovaQuest Animal Health Fund I.
Mr. Hester is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance for the management company and funds including investment valuations, financial and investor reporting, treasury, budgeting and investment and fund tax structuring.
Prior to joining NovaQuest, upon its formation in 2010, Mr. Hester served as Senior Finance Director for the NovaQuest business unit at IQVIA (formerly Quintiles).
Previously, Mr. Hester held Director and Controller positions in the medical software (Allscripts, formerly Misys Healthcare) and restaurant industries.
Mr. Hester began his career in public accounting with KPMG working in both the audit and tax departments, serving clients in a wide variety of industries.
Mr. Hester graduated with honors receiving his B.A. in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, and he is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs
