Manish Nigam

Mr. Manish Nigam is a Managing Director & Senior Investment Analyst at Shikhara Investment Management LP.
He is responsible for covering the technology sector for the firm and has over 30 years of experience in Asian equities.
Mr. Nigam previously worked with Credit Suisse (CS), working across Mumbai, Hong Kong, and New York.
In his latest New York-based role as the Head of Global Sector Research, he worked with all the global sector heads to produce insightful sector thematic research with a focus on actionable stock ideas.
Mr. Nigam was also the Deputy Head of Asia Research for CS for over a decade.
In addition to the management roles, Mr. Nigam’s sector focus has been the Asian technology sector, where he headed CS’s highly regarded technology research team since 2005.
In this role, he led a team of 20+ analysts across Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, and India while writing on regional technology investment strategy and emerging technology themes.
In between, Mr. Nigam also worked (2007-08) with one of the then-largest Asia-focused hedge funds, looking after the technology portfolio.
He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and holds a Bachelor of Technology (Electrical Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
