Mahtab Uddin Ahmed is the founder of Buildcon Consultancies Ltd. He currently holds the position of Chairman at Dsfm Securities Ltd., WeLink Ventures Ltd., and Ncell Axiata Ltd. He is also a Director at The Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Bangladesh and the President of the Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh.
Previously, he served as the CEO, Director & Managing Director of Robi Axiata Plc from 2016 to 2021.
He was also the Chairman of RedDot Digital Ltd. and a Non-Executive Director at Bangladesh Finance Plc from 2023 to 2024.
Prior to that, he worked as the Financial Controller at Unilever Bangladesh Ltd. and held the position of Commercial Manager from 1993 to 1998.
Mr. Ahmed completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Dhaka.
