MKP invests in different strategies across global markets, including US and global rates, emerging markets, foreign exchange, structured, corporate or other credit, equities, and commodities through two main strategies: global macro and fixed-income relative value. Each of the main investment strategies shares the objective of producing high risk-adjusted returns over the long-term in a risk-controlled manner. The Global Macro strategy uses a top-down fundamental approach to identify and exploit imbalances in global economies and asset classes. The Fixed-Income Relative Value strategy primarily uses a relative value approach to exploit pricing asymmetries across global fixed-income and associated derivatives markets.

BNPP AM USA manages both long-only and long-short, fixed income portfolios, multi-currency portfolios and equity portfolios. The firm believes that asset allocation is best conducted by a dedicated top-down decision-making team able to compare relative value opportunities across all fixed income asset classes simultaneously; while more bottom-up security selection decisions are best left to specialist managers for each asset class.
