Augustine Avuru

Augustine Ojunekwu Avuru was the founder of Seplat Energy Plc, which was founded in 2009, where he held the title of Non-Executive Director from 2020 to 2022.
He was also the founder of Platform Petroleum Ltd., which was founded in 2002, where he served as the Managing Director from 2002 to 2010.
Currently, Mr. Avuru holds the position of Director at Professional Support Ltd., Director at Seplat Energy UK Ltd. since 2016, and is a Member of the Nigerian Oil Exploration Association.
In the past, Mr. Avuru has worked as a Technical Director at Allied Energy Plc, Director at MPI SA, Managing Director at Seplat Energy Offshore Ltd., Reservoir Engineer at Nigerian National Petroleum Corp., and Exploration Manager at Allied Energy Resources Ltd.Mr. Avuru's education includes being a graduate of the University of Ibadan and an undergraduate of the University of Nigeria.
