Atedo Peterside

Atedo Nari Atowari Peterside was the founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc (founded in 1989) where he served as Chairman from 2007 to 2014.
He is also the founder of Atedo N A Peterside Foundation (founded in 2007) where he currently holds the title of President.
In 2015, he founded ANAP Business Jets Ltd. and serves as Chairman.
Mr. Peterside is also the founder of ANAP Holdings Ltd. Currently, Mr. Peterside holds multiple positions including Chairman at IBTC Asset Management Ltd., Endeavor Nigeria, Art X Collective Ltd., and Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Ltd. He also serves as President of the Government of Nigeria.
In his former positions, Mr. Peterside served as Chief Executive Officer of Investment Banking & Trust Co. Plc from 1989 to 2007.
He was the Non-Executive Chairman of Cadbury Nigeria Plc from 2009 to 2020 and Chairman of Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc from 2012 to 2017.
He also held various non-executive director roles at Nigerian Breweries Plc, Unilever Nigeria Plc, Flour Mills Nigeria Plc, Presco Plc, Fenikso Ltd., The Standard Bank of South Africa Ltd., and Standard Bank Group Ltd. Additionally, he was a Director at The Nigerian Economic Summit Group and a Member of the National Council On Privatization.
Mr. Peterside obtained a graduate degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science in 1977 and an undergraduate degree from City University London in 1976.
